A positive school environment promotes student learning and development. Children are well prepared for life in a diverse and democratic society when they experience a school community where everyone feels safe, respected and included.
In this literature-based class, students will read about, discuss and take part in experiences that help them learn how to confront intolerance, discrimination and bullying with fairness, equity and inclusion.
Students will learn that even small acts of courage — standing up and speaking out for that which you know is right — will make our world a better place!
